There’s No Time

Seconds tickle pass

Culminating in minutes

The hours evaporate; just like gas

Before you know it

The whole day is gone.

So many things to do

Activities crying out for attention

Even things you would woo

Presently, all I have are petitions

In fact, there’s no time.

In order to do anything worthwhile

You’ve got to create the time for it

Don’t wait for a while

Set out on it!

Because if you don’t, there’ll be no time.

I’m confused about where the time goes

Enthused that more of it is coming

Refused to let the feeling go

But the big question keeps staring

Will I have more time?
