“Fruit of the Spirit” is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a genuinely Christian life (Galatians 5:22-23). We learn from scripture that these are not individual “fruits” from which we pick and choose. Rather, the product of the Spirit is one ninefold “fruit” that characterises all who actually walk in the Holy Spirit. Collectively, these are the fruits that all Christians should be producing in their new lives with Jesus Christ. This submenu on Christian ethics harps on an age-long system of moral principle or rules of behaviour that identifies every child of God and sets them apart from the lust and wild desires of the world.
