“Fruit of the Spirit” is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a genuinely Christian life (Galatians 5:22-23). We learn from scripture that these are not individual “fruits” from which we pick and choose. Rather, the product of the Spirit is one ninefold “fruit” that characterises all who actually walk in the Holy Spirit. Collectively, these are the fruits that all Christians should be producing in their new lives with Jesus Christ. This submenu on Christian ethics harps on an age-long system of moral principle or rules of behaviour that identifies every child of God and sets them apart from the lust and wild desires of the world.

Life is filled with unsung heroes — people that you will never hear of or from. They are like the kidneys — you don’t do anything with them or hear from them until they stop doing what they are supposed to do. Nobody compliments the kidney for its beauty nor its shape. But the kidney becomes a big part …

In prosperity preaching circles, one of the rockstars in the hall of fame is the widow of Zarephath. Nameless, faceless but she is an icon; often referred for her great service to the prophet. Her faith is always talked about as out of this world. Oh … she believed the prophet and rest was … …

I was in the bank some days ago, and for some reasons, my signature could not click with what was on the system. The only other way to ascertain if I was the real McCoy was to use my fingerprint and match with what was on the system, aka biometrics. What they were basically doing …

We find the story of Mary Magdalene first mentioned in the gospel according to Luke 8: 2. She was the woman from whom the Lord Jesus cast out seven demons and the spirit of infirmity during his ministry on earth. Mary Magdalene was from a small town called Magdala, located on the North West shore …

I promised some weeks ago that I will continue the life skill of asking and go further to show you “how to ask.” Asking is a skill. You have to graduate from the “spirit of gi’mme” that babies acquire from the womb and mature to making life-changing requests — requests that will make a difference …

As you go on in life, you will notice that it seems some people have a magnet to know those that matter. Or they know those that know what is going on … ALWAYS. Looking at it at the surface level, it might seem like a natural gift or the person was born that way. …

A believer should be different from the world by not following the status quo and by standing out from the pack. We are in a time where it is so difficult to dare to be different. We are in the era of social media frenzy and wanton ungodliness. Social media has in recent times influenced …

Recently I ran into a lady I had known for a while. Though we hardly say much to each other, we had a rapport. On the said date, she was downcast. I noticed her and enquired what the issue was. She told me, it was nothing she could not handle. I told her that I knew she …
